Private Camp for Girls & Boys Ages 3 - 13

ACTIVITIES!     SPORTS!    FIELD TRIPS!     FUN!

Our nine week program will begin on June 10th and continue through August 09th, 2013. 
Sunshine Summer Camp's goal is to provide girls and boys ages 3 to 13 with a safe, caring environment that is both instrumental to learning and growing, as well as provide many recreational activities that are fun, exciting and challenging. Our eight week program also grants children the opportunity to grow spiritually in a Christian environment and promote physical development.

History:

Sunshine Summer Camp was founded in 1988 by Mrs. Emma Velazquez (Director) and Mr. Jose Velazquez (Camp Coordinator), and has been serving the community for over twenty years. Together they both have developed a wonderful program that provides children wih a multitude of activities that will motivate and challenge them.

Emma Velazquez attained a Bachelor's degree in Education from Cuba and was a teacher for many years. Jose Velazquez has also attained a Bachelor's degree in Education (Summa Cum Laude) and has been teaching for over twenty years. During his professional career, he has served as an Athletic Director and is a certified teacher who has taught the second, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades. Over the years, Mr. Jose  Velazquez has coached numerous winning athletic teams at all levels and in 2007 was inducted into the (A.C.C.) All Catholic Conference Coaches Hall of Fame. He is the youngest inductee to have received this prestigious honor.
